The Zvolen casino Rebuy Stars has held another edition of the Saturday Challenger tournament. On Saturday, August 22, it recorded only 57 entries, which provided players with a significantly subsidized guarantee, which was enjoyed the most by the seven players led by Daniel Balon. They agreed on a 7-way deal.
On Saturday night, players competed for the guaranteed €8,500, with the tournament participation stopping at 57 entries. Although the number of entries was relatively good, it was not nearly enough to beat the tournament guarantee. The Zvolen casino Rebuy Stars had to contribute to the guaranteed amount from its own resources.
The winner was decided by a 7-way split
The final phase of the tournament brought an agreement between the last seven players. After a 7-way split, the official winner of the Saturday CHALLENGER Zvolen 10K was Daniel Balon , who took home €1,791 .
Second place went to Peter Gubala with a prize of €1,534, and third place went to Jaroslav Nesrsta, who won €1,513.
Ján Turjak, Martin Sedílek, Róbert Majchrak and Milan Dunko also made it to the final deal. Based on the deal, the players in eighth and ninth place also received a reward of €100 each. The complete guarantee of €8,500 was thus divided among nine players.
